Fine Arts and Nature Summer Camp
Join us at Lake Lansing Park for an exciting camp experience focused on nature, music, games, artistry, camaraderie and fun! Skilled and experienced instructors Melissa Sigh and Audrey Barton will offer thoughtful supervision and support for artistic, physical, social, and emotional growth while enjoying a beautiful Michigan summer.
In addition to daily music classes, we will explore the following themes in nature and art:
Art and engineering in nature, watersheds, foodsheds and fibersheds,
Building relationships with ourselves, our peers, and the land we live on,
The Wonders of Wool: weaving project, felting, and wool science,
Tiny ecology and pond studies, Upcycled and eco-friendly art projects,
Local history and old-fashioned skills, Permaculture and biodiversity,
Working in harmony with the land and never taking more than we need
